1. What is GYXTW outdoor fiber optic cable?

GYXTW outdoor fiber optic cable is a type of outdoor uni-tube light-armored fiber optic cable designed for aerial and duct applications. Its name is an abbreviation based on Chinese industry standards, where GY stands for outdoor, X for center tube (uni-tube), T for jelly-filled, and W for steel tape armor with parallel steel wires

Structural Components: 
Central Loose Tube: Contains 2 to 24 optical fibers (typically G.652D single-mode or other) protected by a high-modulus plastic tube filled with a water-resistant jelly.
Armoring tape: A layer of corrugated steel tape (PSP) is wrapped longitudinally around the tube to provide moisture resistance and protection against rodents and mechanical crush.
Strength Members: Two parallel steel wires are embedded on opposite sides of the outer jacket to provide the necessary tensile strength for aerial hanging and long-distance pulls.
Outer Sheath: A durable Polyethylene (PE) jacket that is UV-resistant and suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
